Hey Hey!
Attending the Africa Fashion Week Los Angeles on Saturday marked as a confirmation that being in the fashion industry is exactly where i want to be in the near future. Seeing the different African designs and garments being showcased on the runway made me realize that there plenty of talented African designers who need to be recognized for the outstanding job their doing.There was one particular model who stood out for me. She looked amazing in every attire, and the way she was strutting down the runway definitely grabbed the audiences attention. She certainly epitomizes the phrase 'Black is beautiful.'
As you all know, it is mandatory to look stylish at a Fashion show. I went for a simple yet trendy outfit. I wore leather shorts,which are in trend at the moment and a checked black and white blazer. Pretty much anything black and white checkered is also trending at the moment. I added a red African neck piece and beaded African bracelets to add some color and to also give the outfit an African feel, as I was after all going to an African Fashion Show. Bobo wore a black jumpsuit with slits on both sides, which is also trending at the moment.
I had an amazing time and will definitely be attending more fashion shows next year. Below are a few pictures from Saturday:
